Outreach: Social Justice Advocacy

Almighty God, who created us in your image: Grant us grace fearlessly to contend against evil and to make no peace with oppression; and, that we may reverently use our freedom, help us to employ it in the maintenance of justice in our communities and among the nations, to the glory of your holy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

- Book of Common Prayer, p. 260. For Social Justice

Welcome!

All are invited and welcome to participate in any social justice advocacy work here at St. John's, particularly those who may be searching for their personal ministry calling. Below are resources that you may explore regarding local, national, and worldly social justice organizations and activities to help those struggling to escape the margins of society and become independent. You may contact Rev. Dn. Rick Todd with any comments or questions or attend an Outreach meeting that is held on the third Monday of each month in the church parlor from 7:00 p.m. to approx. 8:30 p.m. and find out how you can get involved in Jesus' call to all Christians to help the poor.
