Blessing of the Boats

White Bear Lake is the site of the 61st Annual Minnesota Governor’s Fishing Opener. In its 60 year history this is the first time that the fishing opener has been held in the metro area. On Saturday May 9, 2009 at 6:30 am Fr. Mark and Rev. Marilyn blessed the boats in the ‘Send-off ceremony’ at Tally’s Dockside near Kowalski's Market.
