President of Uganda Visits AFINNET

On April 18, 2009, the President of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, was the Guest of Honor at the Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration of AFINNET founders The Rt. Rev. Dr. George Sinabulya and his wife Edith. President Museveni toured the AFINNET programs in Mityana.

 

Recent contributions to AFINNET provided through St. Johns in Februrary 2009 have been used to purchase new sewing machines, provide running water to the AFINNET Women's Hostel, and to establish a small kiosk where students can purchase personal items without having to go off campus.
