Out
to Lunch
The
parish offers a free monthly
lunch to assist individuals and
families in our community who
need financial assistance and/or
a time of fellowship. Groups,
individuals or families
volunteer to prepare and serve a
hearty meal in the parish hall
on the last Saturday of each
month.
Join
us for our Out to Lunch program
by contacting an Outreach
Committee member or the
volunteer who will be handling
that month's lunch. It only
takes a few hours to make a
difference in someone's life.
Adopt-A-Room
This
Outreach program, benefits the
Family Violence Network for
families in abusive situations.
Parish members contribute
linens, pillows, and other
essentials to the Hill and
Rogers shelter homes.
White
Bear Lake Food Bank
Food
collected in the church grocery
cart near the elevator is
brought to the White Bear Food
Shelf on an ongoing basis.
Additionally, a parish
ingathering assures that needy
families receive assistance
during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Blood
Drive
The
parish joins forces with the Red
Cross in December, to help
assure an adequate blood supply
during the holiday season.
School
Supplies Ingathering
The
parish coordinates a fall drive
for school supplies, giving
metro-area children a great
send-off to school.
United
Thank Offering
Each
year, we gather daily offerings
to signify our thanks for
blessings received. The "mitebox"
ingathering supports a Global
Episcopal Mission.
Adopt-A-Family
Needy
single parent families receive
personalized Christmas gifts
from our parish family.
Episcopal Community Services
coordinates this project.
