The Gifts and Memorials Committee is responsible for making recommendations to the Vestry for the use of Gifts and Memorial money, and keeping an accurate and updated record of all gifts and memorials.

The Gift and Memorial committee members are Fr. Mark Kelm, Beverly Boyle, June Hochbrunn, John Johnson, Barbara Merrill, Jack Reed, Mary Whitney and Judy Kroesch, Chair.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2005 Gifts and Memorials

 

 
 

 

Gifts given, Memorial money donated, and purchases made during 2005 were as follows:

  completion of the Choir Room cabinets

  rolling memorial table

  cash safe

  pottery communion set

  DVD player

  purchase of a thurible, stand and incense

  a gift to the Cemetery Operating Fund

Our original altar was donated to the White Bear Lake Historical Society for permanent loan. Some historical items were framed and hung in the church parlor by John Johnson.

Dana Boyle has updated the Gift and Memorial Register in the church regularly. Mary Whitney and June Hochbrunn have updated our picture album. A list of all gifts and memorials since 1980 has been published in our monthly Voice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Approved Gifts and Memorials

 

 
 

 

The Memorial & Gift Committee maintains a list of the approved items that may be given to the church.  Any committee or person may give suggestions of memorials or gifts for consideration by our committee. The following is a list of approved gifts and/or memorials:

  Sacristy remodeling

  church baseboard restoration

  new pew-back tract racks

  changeable entrance sign

  Parish Hall round tables

  St. John's processional banner

  Gospel Book ceremonial cover

  unity candle stand

  Book of Occasional Readings

  sound system

  Parlor projection screen & white board cabinet

  2 reception serving chairs

  Ladies' Restroom small armchair

Funds are always needed for prayer books, hymnals, library books, Vestments, choir and acolyte robes and altar linens.
