The Liturgy and Music Committee works directly with the Rector and Music Minister to suggest new and meaningful ways for the congregation to worship on Sundays and holidays. The committee also offers guidance to other Liturgical ministries:

• Acolytes lead processions and assist clergy during worship. Contact: Any Verger on Sunday morning.
• Altar Guild prepares the church for worship, maintains vestments and altar wares. Members serve on teams, about 2-3 hours monthly. Training is provided. Contact: Anne Johnson, 651-429-6420.
• Choirs of St. Johns (Chancel Choir, Canticle Ensemble, and Handbell Ensemble), lead by music minister Matt Anderson, 651-429-5351, ext. 17
• Lay Eucharistic Ministers (chalice bearers) assist at communion by offering the chalice.
• Lay Eucharistic Visitors bring communion and parish life news to parishioners unable to attend Sunday worship. Contact: Deacon Debra Welch, .
• Lay Readers and Lectors read lessons or prayers during worship. Contact: Candice Christensen, 651-429-8453.
