The 2008 Episcopal Youth Music Camp, August 10-16 at Camp Heartland Center offers an overnight camp experience to youth entering 3rd grade through 12th grade (fall of 2008).
Music camp offers a wide range of musical experiences including:
- Choral training, sight reading and music theory
- Hand Bells
- Instruments: Band & Orchestra
- Recorders
- Acoustic Guitar (during free-time)
- Mini-Musical Production
- Choreography & Drama
Other activities at camp include:
- Worship & Faith Formation
- Arts & crafts
- Waterfront activities
- Swimming pool
- Afternoon free time: access to basketball court, volleyball, and baseball field
- Nightly Camp Fires
- Canteen
- Theme Dinners -wonderful food
- Special Evening Activities
There are "early bird specials" for those who register and pay in full by May 1. Scholarships are also available
