Welcome to Children's Ministry!

The Children's Ministry program offers Learning Time for children entering preschool through the 5th grade. We meet each Sunday in the Education Wing following the 9 am worship. Our lectionary based curriculum Living the Good News encourages children to explore and reflect on the Sunday readings. Younger children will also experience bible stories through the storytelling, creativity, and wondering of Godly Play. Our Learning Time will begin at 10:00 am and our story for younger children will begin promptly at 10:05 am. We ask that children be in the gathering space by 10:05 am so they can be present for the story that our learning time builds from. Our learning time will end at 10:45 am. We encourage parents to meet their children by their classroom.

Children's Sunday School, ages 3 through fifth grade:

Sundays, 10 am to 10:45 am: Christian Education Hour

Celebrating Our Faith Through The Arts (COFTA), a worship arts and drama program (for children / youth 4th – 12th Grade):

Wednesdays, 6 pm to 7:30 pm

Children's Ministry Committee

The Children's Ministry Committee is made up of all the teachers. The tasks of this committee include organizing the Sunday School program, teacher recruitment and training, curriculum selection, Vacation Bible School and other children's ministries. The staff person for Children's Ministry works closely with chair of the Committee. Other activities of Children's Ministry include Family Fun Nights, Mardi Gras party, back to school nights, and Advent crafts.
