Gathering in Love to Serve

St. John in the Wilderness Cemetery and the Cemetery Subcommittee

St John in the Wilderness Cemetery and the Cemetery Subcommittee

O God of grace and glory, we remember before you those who we have known and loved as companions on our earthly pilgrimage and who have since left this life. In your boundless compassion, console us who mourn. Give us faith to see in death the gate of eternal life, so that in quiet confidence we may continue our course on earth, until, by your call, we are reunited with those who have gone before; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

- Book of Common Prayer Modified from collect appointed for use at the Burial of the Dead, p. 493.
