Youth Worship Service

We are in the midst of planning for a youth worship service on Sunday, June 9th and would love your participation! The Senior High will be meeting to choose the music and work on the liturgy at their youth group meeting on May 26th from 6-8pm.

The Junior High will also have a very special role to play that morning. We have arranged for the band director at Edison High School, Mr. Georgesen, to conduct a small band/orchestra comprised of our Junior High students for the service. Please contact Alison if you would like to participate and tell her what instrument you play and how long you have played. She needs to know by May 25th if you plan on participating.

Junior and Senior High youth group members that plan on being involved with the service will need to commit to the following rehearsal and meeting times.

• Sunday, June 2nd from 11am - 12pm

• Wednesday, June 5th from 6 - 7pm

• Sunday, June 9th arrive at 9am for the 10am service

Senior High Event

After our planning meeting on Sunday, June 2nd we will go out to lunch and then head off for a game of mini golf. Adult drivers will be needed for this event. Golfing skills are not necessary. Please sign up in the parish hall if you plan on attending.

Deadline for Mission Trip

The deadline for 8th- 12th graders to sign up for the August 1st-6th mission trip to Camp Heartland has been extended a few days to this Sunday, May 19th. After this day, empty slots will be made available to youth from other churches. Camp Heartland is a camp for children impacted by HIV/AIDS. We will be helping to clear trails and build a footbridge. Talk to Alison ASAP if you plan on attending or if you have any questions. Those who have already signed up will need to turn in their $20 trip deposit by June 15th.

Cass Lake Episcopal Camp

Camp season is right around the corner! If you are going to CLEC this summer please let Alison know which week you are planning to attend. Alison can still mail registration forms to your family if you are interested and have not had a chance to sign up.

BINGO

BINGO games are slated for Saturday, May 18th and Saturday, June 15th at 1:45pm at the White Bear Care Center. Please join in on the fun!

Attention Seniors!

If you are graduating this spring please let Alison know what school you graduated from and what your fall plans are so that we can pray for you by name during our June 9th youth service.

Junior High Event

We will be meeting at the church at 6pm on Monday June 17th for a movie and then come back for a lock-in overnight. We will decide what movie we want to see a week prior to the event, when it is clear what movies will be playing. Please sign up on the youth board in the parish hall. Additional adults will be needed to help chaperone this event.

Summer Activities

If your family is interested in hosting a summer activity, (BBQ, pool party, dinner, etc.) for either youth group please talk to Alison so she can put it on the summer schedule.
