VESTRY HIGHLIGHTS

The Vestry met on Tuesday, May 14, 2002. Jeanne LeFevre presided. Jay Hanson and Steve Lander, our new interim team, as well as Lydia Brown were at the meeting. A video on interim ministry was shown. The Vestry approved accepting the bid from Teletek for a new phone system. Other motions approved included Jay Hanson's request to designate 51% of his compensation as housing allowance and a request for a Fair Share reduction to be sent to the Diocese. The Vestry also approved the new guidelines for the Gifts and Memorials Committee and the guidelines for Celebration and Blessing of a Marriage.

The Vestry met on May 9, 2002. The special meeting of the Vestry was called to discuss the Diocese's recommendation for an interim team. The Vestry met Jay Hanson and Steve Lander who both stated that they would remain until a new priest has been hired. The motion to accept Jay Hanson and Steve Lander as our interim team was approved.
