MOTHER’S DAY GARDEN PARTY

Do you have a green thumb?

On Mother’s Day, May 12, St. John’s will be hosting a garden plant swap for anyone interested.  Dig up and divide your perennials and bring them to church during the 10:00 coffee hour.  Any other plants that you can share, such as vegetable plants or annuals that you’ve started can also be brought to the swap.  Please mark the plant with name, color, amount of sun needed, and time of bloom.  Please also try to keep the containers (pots, bags, etc.) as dirt free and clean as possible.

Also, will your gardens be blooming?  Let’s fill the Parish Hall with cut flowers from our gardens.  Bring a bouquet of whatever is blooming and enjoy a Mother’s Day filled with fresh flowers.  Come and “brag” about your green thumb!  We will be asking for monetary donations to help support St. John’s beautiful gardens and keep them bloomin’.

Hope to see you all there with your “prizes”.  Any questions, please call Jeanie Long, Hospitality Chair.
