PRAYERS OF THE
PEOPLE
9:00
SERVICE
The special
“Prayers of the People” for the 9:00
service were written by young people to be read by young people. The Junior High wrote the current prayers
last year.
Young readers (Grade 3 and older) are encouraged to practice
the prayers, which are printed in the bulletin, and be part of the 9:00 service
by leading the congregation.
Parents are encouraged to help children who want to lead
prayers. For some young people, advance
planning is easier than volunteering spontaneously. Please select a Sunday and sign-up on the board in the Parish
Hall.
If your son or daughter would feel more comfortable reading
together with a member of the Junior or Senior High, contact Emmy Kegler (3rd
Grade Sunday School classroom) or call Dianne Del Giorno.
Either would be happy to help first-time
readers.
