VESTRY HIGHLIGHTS
The
Vestry met on Tuesday, March 12, 2002.
Jeanne LeFevre presided. Jeanne
reported on an interview with William Lea who is interested in the position of
interim priest. The theft of money from
the office was discussed and ways the building might be made more secure. Mike Allen reported that a picture of Fr.
Joe is being framed and will be hung in the hallway beside the pictures of
other former priests.
New
business included discussions of the telephone system and the cost of updating
it and the Sunday inserts in the Small Voice.
Six
motions were passed:

To offer the job of
interim rector to William Lea

To permit the storage
of rummage for one month prior to each rummage sale

To approve the
appointment of Dianne Del Giorno as the member-at-large on the Executive
Committee

To donate $500.00 to
the Union Gospel Mission

To Move two
Certificates of Deposit to U.S. Bank

To offer an extension
of her contract to Lydia Brown
