St. Cloud

We will be starting our school year by going to see the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and then have a sleep over at the Episcopal Church in St. Cloud. We’ll leave from White Bear Lake at 4:30 pm on Saturday, September 27^th and will return the next day in the early afternoon. The youth of St. Cloud will be invited to participate in the sleep over with our group.

If you are interested in attending, please sign up in the parish hall or call Alison by September 7^th. Because this is an event with reserved seating, it is important to stick to the deadline. The cost for the trip is $5.00.

BINGO

Our monthly BINGO game will be at the White Bear Care center on Saturday, September 20^th at 1:30pm. This parish service project allows us to add some cheer and energy to the residents of the center. Please consider joining us!

Group

Youth group for 9^th-12^th graders will continue to meet the second and fourth Sundays of each month from 6:00-8:00pm beginning September 14th. The first hour is structured program time and the second hour is socialization and/or homework time.

Don’t forget to come to church on September 7^th. We will be having a variety of activities and events after the 10:00 service to welcome our new Rector, Father Mark Kelm and reconnect with each other. Your parents can register you for the youth program for the school year and you can get some good food and maybe win some prizes.

IMAX

The Junior High youth group will be heading to the Minnesota Zoo in the late afternoon of Tuesday, September 16^th to see a movie at their IMAX Theater. The IMAX does not know this far in advance what show will be playing on that evening and the specific time, but details will be made available to those who sign up. Please sign up in the parish hall or by calling Alison if you plan to attend. The cost for this event is $5.00.

in grades 6-8

We start the Junior High Youth Group up again on Wednesday, September 10^th at 7:00 pm. Meetings combine hands-on activities, discussion time, and social opportunities.

Our Pre-Confirmation/Sunday school classes for 6^th-8^th graders begin on September 14^th during the education hour between the two services. Youth can be registered for the Sunday morning program on Rally Day or by calling Alison at the church. The group meets upstairs in the youth meeting room.

Confirmation

Information on the Confirmation program has already been mailed to parents of those in 9^th and 10^th grades.

It is never too late to join in on the program. If you are a Senior High youth who has not been involved in the Confirmation program, but would like to be, please call Alison at church. We will walk with you in your journey of faith.
