SPRING RUMMAGE SALE

“Get it out of here!” you say?  I’m talking about that bag of discards you’ve been stumbling over in the attic or basement all winter.  Bring it to the church beginning April 1, and put it to good use for someone else.  Yup, it’s that time again.  Rummage sale workweek starts April 26, with the big public sales on April 30 from 9:00 -- 12:00 at marked price, and May 1 from 9:00 -- 12:00 p.m. at $2.00 per bag.  Special all parish sale on Thursday, April 29 from 7:00 -- 8:00 p.m.

During the week, workers can purchase items for full price as they sort.  What a deal!  Lunch will be served Tuesday through Thursday, and sitter service will be provided Monday through Friday.  Everything you bring should be usable and in working order.  No large items: TV’s, mattresses, typewriters, microwaves, etc.  We cannot recycle them, nor can we put them in the dumpster.  Large pieces of furniture should be cleared first.  No items to be left in the church entry, please!  (A lot of “no’s”, but this is a perennial problem.)

This is not a one-man job.  Everybody’s help is needed for sorting, and clean-up people are always needed at noon, May 1.  With enough volunteers, we’ll be done by 1:30!  Questions?  Call Lynn Gadbois or Pat Pickering.
