“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it” (Heb. 13.1).

We have been blessed by the presence of many visitors recently.  Take the time to introduce yourself to our visitors and ask them to join you in the Parish Hall for a cup of coffee and conversation after the service.

For your information, Welcoming bags, including a mug and information about both the Episcopal Church and our own St. John’s are kept in the back of the Church on the bookcase next to the user’s pew.  Feel free to grab one and be a welcoming presence in someone’s life on Sunday morning.

You are also encouraged to take a welcoming bag home with you if you want to encourage a friend to join you for Sunday services or attend a church sponsored event.  This is a gracious way to be an evangelist.
