VESTRY HIGHLIGHTS

The Vestry met on January 6.  After a discussion on the need for our church to become better recognized in the community, the motion was made that St. john in the Wilderness become a member of the Chamber of Commerce and that an ad be placed in their publication.  The cost of a two-year membership is $200.00 and the cost of the ad is $395.00.  The motion passed.  Two more motions were approved.  Redoing the reception area outside Fr. Mark’s office will cost between $3,000-$4,000, and work on the project will begin immediately.  The 2004 budget was also approved.
