FLOWER ALERT

The Altar Guild needs help!  As some of you may know, the Altar Guild does not receive any money for altar flowers from the Church budget.  We depend entirely on donations from parish members. 

Our Christmas flowers last Christmas cost $450.00 as the cost of flowers has escalated like everything else.  The cost each Sunday to supply the two bouquets for the niches on the altar is $30.00 and, thankfully, we do sometimes get more than one donation per Sunday.  We welcome more than one person to be a donor on any Sunday, and we need a great deal more donors if we are going to continue having flowers on the altar. 

The Guild has decided to increase the donation amount for flowers to $30.00.  Most of you have loved ones you would like to remember, as well as occasions or happenings in your life for which you are thankful.  Please keep in mind how lovely our altar is with fresh flowers and help the Altar Guild provide them each week.

You may sign up on the flower chart near the coat rack.  There are forms to fill out so you can indicate what you would like to have printed in the bulletin on the Sunday you would like to donate.   Place the form along with $30.00 in the Altar Guild mailbox outside the Office.  Please make checks payable to St. John in the Wilderness Altar Guild.
