Confirmation
Program
Both
sections of our two-year Confirmation program have begun for this school year.
Classes are open to youth in 9th grade or older. If you have a youth
interested in joining the Confirmation class, please talk to Alison Feigh as
soon as possible. Our Confirmation program does not prepare youth for
Confirmation, but prepares them to make a decision about if they would like to
be confirmed. Our two-year program encourages service, parish life involvement,
self-examination, and Christian education. The Second year has a parish mentor
component that serves as an amazing way for our youth to grow in this community
of faith.

St.
Paul
TEC
The
St. Paul TEC program is hosting a weekend called Teens Engaging Christ from Nov. 19th-21st. This
weekend will be held in place of a traditional TEC weekend and will feature
intentional prayer time, scripture reflections, music, food, fellowship, and
fun. Sessions will be held to brainstorm new ways to update St. Paul TEC. This
fall retreat will be open to youth who have already attended a St. Paul TEC as
a Candidate or Team Member to give the youth a voice in any adaptations to the
vision or format of the St. Paul TEC program.

Halloween
Card
Night
On
our Oct. 20th youth group meeting we will be making cards to mail to
all of the St. John’s college students. Feel free to bring any craft materials
from home to help with this fun annual project.

Great
Northern
TEC
Youth
in grades nine and above are encouraged to attend the Teens Encounter Christ
retreat, October 21st-24th (MEA) in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
If you are a youth planning to work on the team for the weekend, please talk to
Alison so that we ensure we have enough adult drivers available to bring youth
to Detroit Lakes on Thursday afternoon. If you are a youth who would like to
attend for the first time, you can pick up forms in Alison’s office. Alison is
available to answer any of your family’s questions about the TEC weekend.

Diocesan
Convention
Youth
Event
Registration
forms for the Senior High Youth Presence at
Diocesan Convention are now
available. The event runs from Friday, Oct. 29th - Sunday,
Oct. 31st in St. Cloud. You will have the opportunity to meet delegates,
discuss your views and opinions as well as have time to catch up with old and
new friends. The event is open to youth in grades 9-12 and the cost for the
event is $75. If you would like more information, please talk to Alison Feigh.
