Mini-Mission
Trip
at
Heartland
We
still have one slot available for our mini-mission trip to
Camp
Heartland, a
camp for children affected by HIV/AIDS. If you are in senior high and are
interested, please talk to Alison ASAP. We leave at 8am on June 15th-
and return at 8pm on June 17th. This will be the third year that we
have taken a group to camp to serve and have a great time.

Manitou
Days
Parade
As
a part of the summer festivities, we’ll also be participating in this year’s
parade. If you would like to help, please sign up on the youth board in the
parish hall. We are also looking for red wagons to help pull some of our
smaller parishioners along. Please let Alison know if you have a wagon that we
can use. Greg Schmit has also donated the use of his ’67 Mustang for the event.
The parade is the evening of Friday,
June 18th. The parade itself begins at 6:30pm, but we will have
to gather earlier than that for parade line up. Details will be provided to
those who register. Please wear a St. John’s Youth shirt if you own one. If
not, any blue shirt will do.

Junior High Youth Group will be
volunteering on June 24th and Senior High on July 29th. If
you would like to help, please sign up in the parish hall. We meet at the
church at 5:00pm. You may want to bring a few dollars to cover dinner or a
