Mini-Mission
Trip
at
Heartland
We have
scheduled a mini-mission trip to
Camp
Heartland for youth entering 9th
grade -- college in the fall for June 15th - June 17th. We
will leave early Tuesday morning and come back Thursday night. Please sign up by
May 30th if you would like to attend.
Camp
Heartland is a camp for
children affected by HIV/AIDS. This will be the third year that we have taken a
group to camp to woodchip trails, paint, and have a great time.

High
Youth
Group
Please
bring a snack to share for our last meeting of the school year, May 26th.
We’ll be sending off the eighth graders with prayers, snacks, and a game or
two.

Summer
Camp
Registration
forms are available in Alison’s office for summer camp sessions at
Cass Lake
Episcopal Camp (CLEC) and Diocesan Music
Camp. Our Episcopal Church Women have
scholarships available for St. John’s youth planning to attend.
CLEC
sessions, forms, and information can be accessed at
www.episcopalmn.org.
Sessions run from late June to early August. CLEC serves youth from K–12 as
well as offering family camp.
Alison
will be serving as the choreographer & counselor for Music Camp at
Camp
Heartland. Music camp runs from August 15th-21st. Music camp serves youth entering into third
grade and older. Jordan Warchol, Rachel Ford & Luke Dean have been selected for
the Leadership team. Congratulations!

Senior
Sunday
and
BBQ
We
will be honoring all of our seniors at the 9:00 service on May 23rd.
There will be special music and a blessing for our seniors. If you would like
to help provide special music, please arrive at church at 8:00am that day for a
run through.
The
Prochnow family will be hosting a BBQ at noon for the senior high youth. Please bring a side dish
or dessert to share.

Trip
A
letter went out to all participants with specific details about our trip to San
Diego, California. Please remember that your second deposit should be turned
in and fundraising completed by June 10th.
