Overnight
Junior
High youth will be meeting at church at 6:00pm on Friday, May 7th
for an overnight on the topic of “Friends.” There will be activities,
presentations, and discussions on what it means to be a good friend and how to
keep good friends. Sign up on the youth board and turn in your parental
permission forms by Sunday, May 2nd if you plan to attend.

Music
Camp
Music
Camp will be held at
Camp Heartland this summer from August 15th-21st.
Music camp has a band, orchestra, bell choir, and puts on a camp musical.
Alison will be volunteering as the camp choreographer again this year.
Registration materials for Music Camp will be available by May 1st.

Side
Story
A
few of the Senior High Youth were interested in going to St. Cloud to see West
Side Story the evening of May 15th as some of our TEC friends
(Casey, Jade, and Nastacia) are in the production. Tickets are $8. If you would
like to attend, please sign up by Friday, April 23rd so that tickets
can be reserved. Depending on interest, additional adult chaperones may be
needed.

Mission
Trip
A
separate letter will be sent out this month with a mission trip update. We will
be staying at St. James by the Sea in La Jolla, California,
www.stjamesbythesea.org. We will use
part of our youth group meeting on April 25th to check in on
fundraising projects and go over other details.

Senior
Sunday
We
will be honoring our graduating seniors during the 9:00 service on May 23rd.
The Prochnow family will be holding a
BBQ for the senior high youth that afternoon. If you are a senior, please
call or email Alison to let her know of your plans for the fall so that they
can be included in the bulletin and in the prayers. We will look forward to
honoring our seniors on this special day.

T-shirts
The youth T-shirts are now available. If you ordered a
shirt, please stop by Alison’s office. The cost is $10 and checks can be made
out to St. John’s.

Cass
Lake
Episcopal
Camp
The
dates for Cass Lake Episcopal Camp have been announced. Dates and registration
information can be found at
www.episcopalmn.org/CLEC_2004Home.htm.
Alison will keep a master list as to who is attending which session, so please
check in with her after you have registered. There are youth camps and family
camps available. Alison has ECW scholarship forms available to offset the cost
of camp. Please turn in forms to the ECW mailbox by May 15th.
