Our Advent production of “The Little
Drummer Boy” is just around the corner We have 33 children and youth currently
taking part in this production. Please join us for the performance on Saturday,
December 13th at 2:00pm.

Wreath
Sales
A reminder that youth will be
selling wreaths between services during the Christmas season to raise money for
the youth programs. Please talk to Molly Anthony if you are willing to assist
on a specific Sunday.

Acolyte
Festival
Acolytes in 6th-12th grade are
welcome to attend an overnight at the Cathedral in Minneapolis on January 24th
and 25th. The event includes training, food, a dance, movies, and commissioning
by the Bishop on Sunday morning. Schedules and registration materials can be
picked up from Alison Feigh. The cost for the event is $25 and scholarships are
available. The registration deadline is January 5th.

Christmas
Party
The Junior High youth group will
have a gift exchange (under $5) and holiday game night at the church on
Wednesday, December 17th at our usual meeting time of 7:00pm. The next two
meetings fall on holidays, so it will be a last chance to check in before we
resume youth group meetings on Wednesday, January 7th.

Rite
of
Affirmation
Eighth
Graders
Parents of the current Eighth
Graders will be contacted after the Christmas season about the Rite of
Affirmation service scheduled for February 1st. The Rite of Affirmation is a
special liturgy honoring the transition in faith formation for these youth and
their parents. All Senior and Junior high youth should plan to attend the 9:00
service to witness and take part.

Treasure
Hunt
The treasure hunt will take place
this year on Saturday, January 10th at high noon. The Junior High Youth Group
competes against the Senior High Youth Group in an amusing battle of skill and
wit. Adult drivers will be needed to assist the teams.

Party
We will be having a Christmas party
on Sunday, December 14th in place of our usual youth group meeting. We will
meet at Alison’s house in St. Paul at 7:00pm. Please bring a snack to share and
a silly gift (under $5) to exchange.
