Serving

People

Senior High Youth are encouraged to sign up in the parish hall for an upcoming service project at the People Serving People homeless shelter. We will be leaving church together after the 9:00am service on Sunday, November 23^rd and going to the shelter in Minneapolis. We will be cleaning/fixing up the facilities until 1:00pm and then leaving to come back to church. Please sign up as soon as you are able to commit to this service opportunity.

TEC

Weekends

A wonderful time was had at Northern TEC up in Hibbing this month. Thank-you to all of the youth, parents, and other members of the parish who donated time, food, energy, and money to support this wonderful weekend.

Please talk to Alison as soon as possible if you would like to attend the St. Paul TEC on Nov. 14-16^th. St. Paul TEC is open to those in 10^th-12^th grade.

Group

A reminder that our meetings will take place this month on Sunday, November 9^th and Sunday, November 23^rd from 6:00-8:00pm. Themes for the night will be “Strength” on the 9th and “Service” on the 23^rd.

Wreath

Sales

We will be selling wreaths in the parish hall between services beginning Nov. 23^rd. The money raised will go directly to our youth programs. If you would like to volunteer to help on a Sunday, please talk to Molly Anthony.

Christmas

Play

All youth are encouraged to take part in this year’s Christmas play, “The Little Drummer Boy.” We will be rehearsing during the Junior High Youth Group time (Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm) beginning on November 12^th. All Junior High Youth Group members will be given opportunities to work on projects on and offstage. Our final performance will take place Saturday, December 13^th at 2:00pm.

Mission

Trip Meeting

There will be a meeting on Sunday, November 30^th during education hour for youth (and their parents) interested in participating in this summer’s mission trip. Our trip is open to those currently in eighth grade up through college. Please plan to attend if you would like to participate this summer.

Junior

High

Lock In

There will be a Junior High overnight planned on Friday, November 21^st beginning at 6:00pm and ending at 10:00am on Saturday, November 22^nd. The theme for the overnight will be “Heroes.” We’ll be talking about heroes from the Bible and people who we consider our personal heroes. Please sign up in the parish hall if you would like to attend. An additional safe church trained adult is needed to help with this event, please talk to Alison if interested.
